Based on the certification method implemented by the Telecommunication Quality Measurement Center for Method 7 on imported batches, our company would like to provide customers with essential considerations during this process:
Conditions for Conformity Certification according to Method 7:
The manufacturing company applying for Conformity Certification must not have a suitable quality management system certificate (not matching the origin of goods, expired, or lacking an appropriate scope).
Execution Procedure:
Step 1: Submit Method 7 Conformity Certification dossier. Clearly state the application of Method 7 on the request form along with information on the quality registration number, and relevant customs declaration number for the batch. Accompanying documents include a copy of the business registration, personnel introduction submitting the dossier, technical documents, quality registration copy, customs declaration, and other relevant documents related to the imported batch if requested.
Step 2: Collaborate with the Telecommunication Quality Measurement Center to assess the batch and seal the sample.
Step 3: Measure and test the products. Note that testing is only allowed for sealed sample products by the Telecommunication Quality Measurement Center. Do not independently test products without the sealed sample, as there is a high likelihood that the Center will not accept the results.
Step 4: Submit additional measurement results for the sealed sample from Step 2 to the Telecommunication Quality Measurement Center and rectify any issues as requested by the Center.
Cost of Method 7 Conformity Certification:
In addition to the evaluation and certification fees as in Method 1, customers incur additional fees for batch assessment and sample collection.
Validity of Method 7 Conformity Certification:
The certificate is only valid for the specific batch, confirmed by the registration number and customs declaration number stated on the certificate.
